At Millennium People Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity for Warehouse Manager for Food Distribution Centre. Candidate is requiring having previous experience in this role preferable in Food Distribution. 

Highly experienced food Distribution Warehouse Manager required for a client who are growing considerably and have experienced huge success. You will have a Management approach, understand leadership and be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods along with ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse on a day to day basis.

You will be an enthusiastic leader with demonstrable experience of leading and developing a high performing team, and you will develop, maintain and grow excellent working relationships with customers and wider management teams.

Cost management and a solid numerical ability is also required. 5 + years Warehouse

On a day to day basis you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Implement and continuously review Warehouse operational procedures and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure KPIs are met with regards to warehouse productivity
• Provide effective resource planning to ensure workload organisation and management meet operational KPIs
• Be recognised as the go to person for Warehouse/Logistics operations
• Maintain Safety standards through following legal regulations and by establishing, enforcing and following policies and procedures
• Day to day management of Warehouse team
• Organisation and delegation of work in a multi-user environment
• Continually assess processes and procedures ensuring the warehouse is working smartly and efficiently
• Ensure all stock is received, stored and delivered on team and deal with any issues effectively and efficiently
• Cost analysis / Profit & Loss
